XME stands for EXTREME MISSION EVANGELISM
Reaching the hard-to-reach for Christ.
THIS IS EXTREME
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” —Acts 1:8
“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” —Hebrews 7:25
HIS MISSION IS OUR MISSION
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” —Mark 16:15
EVANGELISM IS OUR MEANS
“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” —2 Timothy 4:5
XME also means…
- XME means the cross (X) comes before ME. “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” —Galatians 6:14
- XME means “X” me out. I am nothing. Christ is everything. “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” —Galatians 6:3
- XME means the cross of Christ is right next to me. There is nothing between my soul and my Saviour.
- XME means execute me. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” —Galatians 2:20
- XME means the cross is greater than I. The cross first, then me. “He must increase, but I must decrease.” —John 3:30
- XME means I must bear His cross. “And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.” —Luke 14:27
- XME means the old me—the ex-me (the old man)—is dead. “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” —Romans 6:6
