It’s not really about existing after this life.

You will exist forever no matter what you do. The question is, where will you be? And with whom? You really need Christ.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

1 John 5:12

If you believe the words of Christ, you will live forever with Him. If you reject Him, you will perish forever without Him.

Of course, you could spend the rest of your life trying to figure it all out. You do realize that no one has it all figured out, right? Not one human has ever had all the answers. That is what faith is all about. I am sure you have probably considered Christ before. Maybe you want to keep “mulling it over,” for a while longer. Here is God’s warning to you: Figure it all out later, but today trust Jesus. Today is the day of salvation! (See the Bible, James 4:14 and 2 Corinthians 6:2)

Consider Christ

  1. Realize your eternity is just one heartbeat away.
  2. Realize the ultimate goal is not going to heaven. The ultimate goal is getting to know your Maker. Once you know Jesus, everything else will work into place. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
  3. Believe the gospel. Jesus died for your sins. The Lord shed His precious blood for you. He was buried. He rose from the dead to prove it’s all real. Take some time and read the account for yourself. It will take you about 20 minutes to read the Bible account in the book of John, chapters 18-21. Your eternal soul is worth 20 minutes consideration, don’t you think?
  4. Read the Bible. I think it will convince you that Jesus is exactly who He said He was. Ask Him to save you.

Pray a prayer like this, from your heart. If it’s not from your heart, it won’t work. God knows when you mean it.

Dear Jesus, forgive me. I believe you died on the cross for me. I ask you to be my Savior. Forgive me for all the times I have wronged others. Forgive me for all the times I have wronged you. Come into my heart. Teach me, change me, guide me. In Jesus name. Amen.

Got questions? Who doesn’t! There is a lifetime of learning ahead of us all. If you prayed this prayer to receive Christ, please let me know. If you’re still not convinced, or if you have sincere questions, I would be honored to talk with you. Feel free to contact me directly.
