Everything God Does Is Extreme
Everything God does is more than perfect. From the mind-crippling expanse of the universe, to the unexplored ocean trenches of our own planet, His mysteries are infinite. Yet somehow we take it all for granted. Real life sets in and thoughts of His utmost and His highest, blend into another boring day at work.
But that’s why God sent me to earth. That is my purpose in life and the reason I was created. I was made to proclaim to you that our God is extreme. He is alive this moment and wants you to behold His extreme glory.
The Essence of Praise is Extreme
I believe the essence of praise is this: Us realizing that God is extreme. He is extreme in His creation. He is extreme in His plan to save us. The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Do you realize how extreme that is?
Do you believe in Hell? Can you imagine eternal torment and everlasting death?
Do you believe in Heaven? Can you see how extreme the distance is between these two places?
The Suffering of Christ was Extreme
Consider the immense and severe suffering of Christ. In the garden of Gethsemane He sweat, as it were, great drops of blood. On the cross, His suffering was supreme. It was extreme.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
Don’t Take God’s Extremeness For Granted
Have you taken the extreme offer of Jesus Christ? He said if you believe in His death, burial and resurrection you will not perish. You will live with Him forever. Jesus is real, and so is His extreme love.
If you are a believer in Christ, don’t take Him for granted. Appreciate how extreme He is, and give Him the praise He deserves.
Praise ye the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary:
Praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts:
Praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:
Praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance:
Praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals:
Praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
Praise ye the LORD. —Psalm 150
